Worldtech offers a two week (10 business days) free trial that includes a detailed cost analysis and a summary detailing template usage. The trial is limited to 10 days worth of dictation, or ten average days of dictation if using backlogged dictation for the trial.
Does WorldTech U.S.A. Inc. have a contract or service agreement?
We do have a service agreement that ensures the rate quoted for no less than 12 months, and may be extended up to 36 months. There is no minimum amount of dictation that is required. If there is no dictation upload in any calendar month, there will be an invoice of $0. We prefer to retain clients due to quality and turnaround and not trap them with a binding contract.

Worldtech defines one line of transcription as 55 characters including spaces as opposed to a standard 65 character line because we discount for the use of templates and normals and do not charge for headers and footers.
How does WorldTech U.S.A. Inc. discount for templates and normals?
We compute the average usage of templates and divide that percentage by two, and then discount the total line count that amount. For Example, if a client inserts a “normal Review of Systems” 30% of the time there will be a monthly discount on the invoice of 15%. The max discount is 25%.
What type of transcription platform does WorldTech U.S.A. Inc. use and what are the delivery methods?
Worldtech has two transcription platforms to choose from. WorldFTP Pro is proprietary file transfer protocol software that is installed on the client end and is used to upload and download dictation and transcripts to and from the WorldTech U.S.A. Inc. server. This software encrypts all transmissions at 256 bit and through an SSL connection. This is 100% HIPAA compliant.
The second transcription platform is a web based application hosted by Dragon MT. The web based platform is equally secure and adds advanced features such as: electronic signature, voice recognition, and real-time status of transcripts. Web based allows the client to view and edit transcripts from anywhere that the Internet is available. This makes it convenient for providers to view transcripts from remote locations such as hospitals and their home.

WorldTech U.S.A. Inc. offers a toll free dictation system that is as simple as dialing an 800 number, and various Olympus Digital Recorders. WorldTech U.S.A. Inc.’s Dragon MT transcription platform will integrate with hospital dictation systems such as Dictaphone.
