The WorldTech MT Workflow platform has been architected from the ground up to be a highly scalable, highly available solution. A key component of this scalability and availability is enterprise-class hardware / software architecture.

At the IP transport and communication level, redundant firewalls / routers / load balancers ensure that the system is highly available. At the telecommunications level, our dictation servers are deployed in primary / second pairs across pairs of digital T1 trunks. This configuration provides both roll over and failover capability. Hardware redundancy at the application and database server provide scalability and hot failure with a guarantee of 99.99% system up time.

From a product perspective, our system complies with the required Technical Safeguards on Security (including those necessary to meet the Privacy Standards). This includes, for example, unique user identification, 128bit SSL encryption, and integrity controls. When we provide our services as an ASP, we also implement the Administrative and Physical Safeguards necessary to ensure that our clients are compliant with the Security Standards. HIPAA Audit In support of the HIPAA regulations, Dragon keeps a complete audit history of all document activity, from dictation, to transcription to distribution. This functionality is available to the MT Administrator and can be used to quickly determine the full access history of a given job.
